MY JOURNEY

I was raised in the suburbs of Chicago with my brother and two parents. Growing up, I was always outdoors whether it was sports, leisure, or just exploring. My hero has always been David Attenborough, an English Broadcaster, Biologist, Natural Historian and Author. I always wanted to grow up to be just like him, sharing a love of the natural world with others so that one day, they may too find the constant amazement and joy I have found with landscapes and wildlife of our planet earth.

I attended the University of Iowa, where volunteering at UI Hospitals & Clinics led me into Healthcare Administration. I earned my Master’s in Health Systems Management from Rush University in Chicago. After completing an Administrative Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University, I returned to Chicago and now serve as Senior Practice Manager at Northwestern Medicine, with previous leadership roles in Integrative and International Health.

While much of my life centers around healthcare, my love for travel and the natural world has never wavered.

I am currently 30 years old and have been blessed with some incredible stories and opportunities in life. I have studied in the United States, France, Germany, and China. I have been to 21 countries on 4 different continents along with 28 National Parks in the United States.

TRAVEL WITH JEREMY IS A DREAM I STARTED PURSUING ON JANUARY 20TH, 2019 WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST CAMERA

Prior to buying my first camera, I was shooting on my iPhone 8 using Instagram’s default editing features to post my photos. Now, I shoot on a Sony Alpha A7iii with a variety of Sony G-Series lenses. I purchased my first camera in January of 2021. The hope and dream of Travel with Jeremy is simple. I truly want to see and learn about all of the wonders of the natural world. It is my hope that I may share the knowledge I have acquired here about landscapes, wildlife, and culture of the world for anyone interested.

It is my hope that this website is a source of fun, inspiration, information, and advice from a guy just figuring it all out as he goes. Thank you to all of you who have supported this dream and have found joy in my content since the beginning. A thank you as well to the new ones who join along the way. A special thank you to those of you who have shared the road with me, i.e traveled with Jeremy
